Experiencing awe can certainly provide a “wow moment” but it is also much more than that. The extensive research has shown that by experiencing awe, it can increase prosocial behavior, patience, social connectedness, critical thinking, positive mood and much more.

Experiencing awe is associated with enhancing personal resilience and overall positive mental health. All of this is critical for first responders, front-line workers, teachers and many other professionals at being effective in their professional work while also with thriving in their personal lives.
